HOW IT WORKS
We make sure the area is fully comfortable before we begin.
We gently clean out the decayed or damaged part of the tooth.
Tooth-colored composite is placed in layers and shaped to match your tooth.
We cure it, adjust your bite, and polish, so the tooth feels and looks natural.
A filling restores a tooth after decay or a minor fracture. We use composite resin, a tooth-colored material that bonds directly to the tooth. Unlike older silver fillings, composite matches your enamel, requires removing less of the healthy tooth, and reinforces what remains.
Small cavities often cause no pain at all, which is why we catch most of them at routine exams. If you notice sensitivity to hot or cold, a rough edge, or a dark spot on a tooth, it is worth having it looked at. The sooner a cavity is treated, the simpler the repair.
