Your first visit
We make first visits feel easy.
Your first appointment usually runs 90 minutes. It includes a comprehensive exam, digital X-rays when needed, and time to talk through your goals and any concerns. We listen before we look.
To keep the visit smooth, here is what to do and bring ahead of time.

Fleming Dental is an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice. That means our recommendations are guided by what your teeth need, not by what an insurance plan will or will not cover.
If you have insurance, we will file your claims for you as a courtesy. Either way, you will get clear estimates before any treatment begins, so there are no surprises.

Do you take my insurance?
We are out of network with all insurers, which lets us focus on what your teeth need rather than what a plan covers. If you have insurance, we will file your claims as a courtesy. If you do not, our membership plan is a straightforward way to stay ahead of your care.
How long will my first appointment take?
Plan for 90 minutes. That includes a comprehensive exam, X-rays when needed, and time to talk through your goals. We do not rush first visits.
Do you offer a membership plan?
Yes. It covers your routine cleanings, exams, and X-rays, with clear savings on other treatment. It is built for patients without dental insurance who still want to stay ahead of their care.
What if I have dental anxiety?
You are in good hands. We are known for a calm, unhurried approach that puts anxious patients at ease. Tell us when you call or on your intake form, and we will make your appointment as comfortable as possible.
Do you see children?
Our focus is on adults and older teens, and we do not offer pediatric or child-specific care. For young children, we are glad to recommend a trusted pediatric dentist.
